Hello! I'm Brian Carta. I am from Tewksbury, MA, and I am currently studying Fashion Design at the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. I was inspired to get into fashion by all four of my grandparents, who were all tailors and seamstresses that immigrated from Italy to the United States. 

 

Having grown up playing video games, character design and concept art are huge inspirations in my garment design work. I'm a big Nintendo geek, and my favorite franchises are Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Fire Emblem. I am also a big fan of cartoons like Steven Universe and Adventure Time. Through my garments, I hope to create unique, story-telling pieces.
